The Warner Bros announced that the latest installment of the Harry Potter films, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows 1, is the highest grossing film of the saga worldwide.
The film, based on the first part of the last book of the boy wizard, has raised 657.24 million dollars since it hit theaters, ranking sixth in the list of the best releases of all time in America.
The six previous installments in the saga accumulated a total of 5,400 million dollars worldwide. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows 2, the outcome of the story, will hit theaters next July 15.
