The new television series Jesse, "Locke & Key"seems to be promising but Joe Hill, the creator of the original comic, said he was not very safe to have McCartney at first.
"At first I had my doubts [about Jesse], I knew nothing about him except that he had a musical career. I saw him do a couple of scenes and I was impressed. Jess has depth, strength and a kind of sweet innocence, things really looked for the character. "
